Agreement to terms
By accessing or using Upendra Competition Institute (“the service”), you agree to these Terms of service. If you do not agree, do not use the service. The service is operated by the operator of Upendra Competition Institute (“we”, “us”, “our”).
Description of service
Upendra Competition Institute, Sehore, helps you prepare for competitive exams in India — including SSC, Railways, MP Police, Defence, and Agniveer — with timed practice tests, courses, revision notes, and progress tracking. The service is provided online as a software service. Features, content, and availability may change over time. We provide the service on an “as is” and “as available” basis.
Much of the service is free today. Paid tests, courses, or subscriptions may be offered later. When paid options appear, pricing and billing terms will be shown before you pay.
Accounts
You sign in with Google OAuth (or a mock sign-in in development environments). You must provide accurate information associated with your Google account and keep your Google credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your account.
You must be at least 13 years old to use the service. Competitive exam preparation is typically used by people aged 16–25. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may use the service only with permission from a parent or legal guardian where required by law.
One person per account unless we explicitly offer a team or shared plan.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Break any applicable law or regulation
- Infringe intellectual property or other rights of others
- Attempt to access another user’s account, answers, or data
- Probe, scrape, or reverse engineer the service except where the law allows
- Interfere with the service, overload systems, or distribute malware or spam
- Resell or sublicense access without our written permission
- Misrepresent your identity or impersonate others
Administrators publish tests, courses, and notes. Students submit answers and generate learning progress. There is no public social feed; do not use the service to harass others or post unlawful content through support channels.
Payment and refunds
Core features are free at this time. If you purchase a paid test, course, or subscription in the future, you agree to the price and payment method shown at checkout.
Refund policy (paid purchases): If you pay for access, you may request a full refund within 14 days of your first purchase for that paid product. After 14 days from that first purchase, refunds are not offered except where required by law. We may change pricing for future purchases with reasonable notice.
Intellectual property
We own the service, its design, and our original content (including branding and software), except where we use third-party materials under license. Test content, courses, and notes published by admins remain our or our licensors’ property unless stated otherwise.
You retain ownership of the answers and progress data you create. You grant us a limited license to store, process, and display that data solely to operate and improve the service, as described in our Privacy policy.
Your data
You may request access, export, or deletion of your personal data as described in our Privacy policy. When you delete your account or ask us to delete data, we will remove or anonymize it within a reasonable period, subject to legal retention requirements.
Service availability
We aim to keep the service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Maintenance, updates, or issues with hosting, databases, or third parties (including Google sign-in) may cause downtime. We are not liable for delays or failures outside our reasonable control.
The service is hosted on self-managed infrastructure (Node on Dokploy), with PostgreSQL, Valkey or Redis for caching, and Cloudflare R2 for files when used.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the operator of Upendra Competition Institute is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, or goodwill. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us for the service in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim, or zero if you have not paid us.
Practice tests and study material are for preparation only. We do not guarantee exam results, rankings, or selection in any recruitment process.
Termination
You may stop using the service at any time and may sign out or request account deletion via [email protected].
We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these terms or if we must do so for legal, security, or operational reasons. Where reasonable, we will give notice before termination for non-urgent issues.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page and change the “Last updated” date. For material changes, we will provide additional notice (for example by email or in-app message) when we have a way to reach you.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Courts in India will have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes arising from these terms or the service, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
